Toronto Beach Outdoor Yoga 2 Hour Practise!

Do you really want to be doing yoga indoors...in the middle of summer...in a hot, stuffy, smelly room...when you could be outdoors, stretching in the warm breeze by the water's edge...mmmmmmm!

What to expect from this 2 hour yoga practise?
Share your requests with the group at the start of each practise...yoga poses, body parts, energy levels and how you want to practise. Do you prefer moving through a variety of steady sweaty salutations or deeply relaxing in supportive restorative floor work with bolsters and belts...or...both! This 2 hour practise now gives us enough time to explore many aspects of our body through the practise of yoga.

Toronto Beach Location...
At the Foot of Lee Avenue and Alfresco Lawn (here is a map link), there is a covered structure we call The Yoga Hut - it is located right next to the boardwalk in front of the Lighthouse looking at the water. Depending on the weather and group size, we will be practising right on the sandy beach, right on the grassy lawn or in the covered Yoga Hut. All locations offer splendid view of water and caress of warm summer breeze!

Time: Wednesdays 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Session: June 22nd to July 27th 2011

Register: $96 for 2011 Summer Session
Drop-in Anytime: $18

To Register: A non-refundable deposit of $45 is required. Full payment must be made by June 15, 2011. Payment can be made by cash or cheque payable to Julia Ray. Upon registration you will receive a confirmation email.

Things to Bring: Beach Towel, Yoga Mat, Dry-Fit Layer to Stay Warm, Extra Fleece Layer for Meditation/Savasana, Water, Small Towel including 4 medium-sized rocks to keep your Towel/Mat down in case it's windy that day.

Specialized Workshops

Yoga Vibe offers Specialized Yoga Workshops for Athletic Teams, Colleges, Organizations, Schools, Boys/Girls Scouts, Teens, Seniors ... our mission it to bring the practise of Yoga to you. Workshops include a free Consultation to discuss your group's specific needs. An 8-week Yoga Program will be designed based on the requirements of your group. Workshop Fee is $120 per 75-minute session (for up to 12 participants/group). Contact us for more information or to schedule a Consultation.
